i-Ready Diagnostic
Our first window for the iReady Diagnostic is underway and is open through September 30th. It would be best to start this week, if you have already that is fine as well. Starting now will allow you plenty of time for students to finish up during independent work time if necessary. The most important thing we can do is prepare students and motive them to put forth their best effort.

• Use the Preparing Students for the First Diagnostic PowerPoint® to get students ready for the Diagnostic.• Use the Kit: Get Good Data to review tips and tools and to create your own action plan for preparing students for the Diagnostic and supporting them during the administration.
With this just being year two with iReady, we are still learning together. As I mentioned at the staff meeting last week, please let me know if you have any questions or if you'd like to arrange for me to be in your classroom during your first go at the diagnostic.
