Nicole Herlache - Jan. 11

The Winter iReady Diagnostic Window continues through January 28th. As you know there are always potential conflicts with individual or class quarantines, so it would be best to start the beginning of this week, if you haven't yet, which will allow you plenty of time for students to finish up during independent work time if necessary. Please don't wait until the last week to start. Thank you!
Since this is the second window and the second year of iReady, there may not be as much need for introduction to new things, however reminders and reteaching are certainly beneficial in setting them up for success. And as always, motivating students to put forth their best effort.
If you click here you will be taken to a webpage from iReady with many helpful pointers and links. You will likely find these helpful...
- Use the Preparing Students for the First Diagnostic PowerPoint® to get students review and get ready for the Diagnostic. (scroll to your appropriate grade level)
- How do I set goals with students? Includes links to data pledge sheets at the bottom of the page as well.
Other ideas, click each to see more info...
Please let me know if you have any questions or if you'd like to arrange for me to be in your classroom during this second go at the diagnostic. Always keep an eye on email for updates and tips.
